Pixsweet is responsible for all personal data belonging to customers, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation.

It also applies to, for example, order numbers, encrypted data and different types of electronic identities, such as IP numbers, if they can be linked to a physical person. It does not include data where the identity has been removed (anonymous data).


Pixsweet's legal basis for processing your personal data is in accordance with current legislation, as stated in section 1.1. It may occur that the same personal data is processed both on the basis of the purchasing agreement, specifically by consent or on the basis that the information is necessary to fulfill other legal obligations. This means that even if you revoke your consent and the handling based on the consent ceases, the personal data may still remain with us for other purposes.


Pixsweet collects personal data that you send to us, such as when you place an order, contact our sales team or customer support team, perform certain actions on our site(s) or participate in surveys. Data collected when ordering

When you purchase a product from Pixsweet we collect personal data from you to fulfill your order. This information includes information such as name, address and contact details. We may also collect payment information from you when you place an order with Pixsweet.

Data collected by direct interactions

We collect personal data from you when you contact us, for example via customer service, by email, phone, in person, via social media or other means. First of all, we collect the personal data needed to answer your question. This is information such as name and order number. Depending on how you choose to contact us, we can also collect contact information such as email address and phone number.

Data collected via Account Pages

If you register a user account on we collect your email address to create the user account. We also collect information including your name, address(es) and contact details.

Information collected when you subscribe to our newsletter

If you choose to subscribe to Pixsweet's newsletter/s, we will collect your name and e-mail address so that we can send our newsletter/s to you. If you choose to provide it, we will also collect information including your postcode and country of residence. This information allows us to tailor our newsletter content to be relevant for your location.

Data collected when using our digital services

When using Pixsweet's website(s), or any other digital service affiliated with Pixsweet, we collect information about your usage of our services. Some of this data may include personal data, such as your IP number. We also collect information about how you navigate and the searches that you complete on our website(s).

Data collected from someone other than you

When contacting us in various cases, a person may provide personal data about one or more other persons, primarily their email address or telephone number. We assume that the person providing the information has the consent of all persons to whom that person may disclose this personal data.


Pixsweet uses your personal data to provide you with service if you contact us with questions, comments or complaints. We use your name and order number to identify you and your order. We use your contact information, such as email address and phone number to contact you in connection with questions or concerns. We may also use all of the other personal data that we have collected to handle your question or concern, depending upon what is relevant to the individual case.


When you have placed an order with us, we use your personal data to send an order confirmation, information regarding the status of your order, and a delivery note. Such information will be sent to the email address that was provided when you placed the order.


Personal data can be used in marketing campaigns by Pixsweet in connection with promotions, activations or information sent by mail or email.

If you have subscribed to our newsletter, we use your personal data to send the newsletter to you and to customize the content of the newsletter.


Processing of personal data will also be made possible in order to fulfill obligations under rule of law and regulations, for example in matters of security (eg. fraud) and accounting purposes.


Pixsweet will only keep your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes that we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.

To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorised use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, and the applicable legal requirements.

Information provided under My Account is stored as long as the user identity is active. You may contact us at any time to request deletion of your account, and corresponding personal data.

If you subscribe to our newsletter, your contact information will be stored until you request that it is deleted. If you opt-out by unsubscribing, you will no longer receive our newsletter, but we will retain your contact information on an opt-out list, to ensure that your suppression request is honoured.

When possible, Pixsweet will restrict the retention of information to the shortest possible time period.

The same component of personal data can be stored in several different locations for different purposes. This may mean that data deleted from one system, may remain in another system where it is stored with the consent of the user or for another purpose that require that the personal data is kept, eg. security or accounting purposes.


Pixsweet uses personal data for the following purposes:

To create and manage your personal account at Pixsweet.

To process your orders.

To contact you in case of any problems with the delivery of your goods.

To answer your questions and to inform you about new or changed services.

To carry out credit checks if necessary.

To send promotional offers such as newsletters and other offers.

To confirm that you hold the statutory minimum age to make purchases online.

To prevent abuse or inappropriate use of our services.

Contracted partners and IT providers

We use a number of different IT services and IT systems in our operations. In some of these, personal data are stored and handled. We care for your integrity and security and the protection of information in all such handling. Some systems are installed locally with us and only selected staff have access to the data. In these cases, no transfer will be made to third parties. However, some systems are cloud solutions or are installed at the supplier’s location which means that we transfer personal data to the supplier. In these cases, the supplier is either GDPR-compliant, or we have entered into a personal data assistant agreement with us and handles the data on our behalf and according to our instructions.

Internal IT systems

Internally we handle personal data in our customer database, in our business and sales support systems, in our customer service system and in a data management and database backup system.

Web analysts

We use external vendors for personalization and analysis of user behavior on our websites and for user feedback. These companies handle personal data in accordance with a personal data assistant agreement on our behalf. The information in question is primarily information collected through cookies and managed at anonymous and aggregated levels.

Payment processing

We use external suppliers to process credit card payments. These providers have access to personal data in the form of names, addresses and payment information. This handling is necessary to deliver the services you have ordered from us. Pixsweet is not the primarily owner of this type of personal data, eg. payment information, and does not store this type of information locally.

Necessary handling of personal data and handling with the purpose of consent

Personal data processing that is necessary for us to fulfill an agreement with you or to fulfill a legal obligation is permitted without consent. However, in order for us to collect and handle your personal data for any other purpose, you must agree to this. You agree to the usage of personal data when using our services at and our social channels.

Right to receive information about personal data and withdrawal of consent

You are entitled to request information about the personal data we have about you at any time. If your information is incorrect, incomplete or irrelevant, you can request that it is corrected or deleted. We cannot delete your data as long as there is a statutory requirement for storage, such as accounting regulations, or when there are other legitimate reasons for the data to be saved, such as unpaid debts. At any time you may revoke your consent for us to use your personal information for marketing purposes. We have undertaken technical and organizational measures to protect your data from loss, manipulation and unauthorized access. We take ongoing measures to comply with the principles of "built-in data protection and data protection by “default". We continuously evaluate the risks of personal data processing and take the necessary security measures to reduce risks. To make credit card purchases as secure as possible, all information is sent in encrypted form. This means that the information is transmitted through a secure connection and that your personal data cannot be read by third parties. For credit card purchases, we work with an authorized payment agent that helps us to directly check with your bank that the card is valid for purchase.
